Players and referees suffered from the use of tear gas and sought rescue in the dressing room in Volos – Olympiacos Piraeus
The atmosphere in the Volos stadium became unbearable after the use of tear gas, the referees and football players of both teams could not stand it and looked for relief in the locker room.
The incidents that occurred in Panthessaliko shortly before the end of the game between Volos and Olympiakos led to the use of chemicals by the police, which made the situation unbearable for those who were on the field, quite far from the center of tension.
Players and referees rushed to the other end of the pitch, but there too the situation was unbearable. Rescue was found when a door to the inside of the stadium was opened and everyone took refuge there.
