Achilleas Beos spoke at the final of the game between Volos and Olympiakos about fans destroying football while blaming the police for how they handled the whole situation.

The match between Volos and Olympiakos ended with the score at 2-2, with the final minutes being played after the game was suspended for about an hour due to incidents, with Achillea Beo pointing out the bad things that led to the suspension his statements in front of the Cosmote TV camera.

The owner of the Thessalian team spoke there “Hooligans who come at the expense of football” He also accused the police of using tear gas, which created an unbearable situation for the players.

In detail what he said:

“A lot of people will be surprised about Volos’ hiring. Volos will not be the team that will play a role in punishing a team like Olympiacos, Panathinaikos, AEK or PAOK. That will never happen in my time. But we have to think about it.” This picture is a shame, since the Greek police also bear a great responsibility.

This is neither an option nor a reason to use tear gas to repel fans. This was also the reason why at least ten players from Olympiakos and Volos fell and couldn’t breathe. Two of us stopped breathing, they went to the doctor and we put them on oxygen.

This is not a picture. Little children were crying in the stands. Unless those who make the laws and those who have the power to change football don’t sit around the same table at some point and say, “No more bums in football,” we won’t see a better day.

While great efforts are being made, they are investing, this year four teams are taking part in the groups, we are seeing something better, a more impressive league, these vagabonds, from whom I do not know what they are protected from, remain I act at the expense of football and that’s a shame.”
