Almeida: “We knew the difficulties of the game, but we succeeded”
Matias Almeida, in his first commentary after AEK’s win over Aris, focused on the difficulties of the game and the importance of the three points for Union.
AEK beat Aris 1-0 to pick up an important three points, with Matias Almeida stating after the end of the game:
“A tough game, Aris is a good opponent with 15 young players. We knew what was coming, but we got what we wanted.”
About the AEK goal in added time:
“Yes, it’s true that you always try to create phases, you also try to take advantage of the static phases. That’s football.”
On Monday evening, Pantelis Vlachopoulos, together with Pantelis Diamantopoulos and Themis Kaisaris, will comment on the AEK-Aris derby as well as the Olympiakos, Panathinaikos and PAOK games.
