Nielsen: “My goal is to save Kifissia, nothing will stop me”
New Kifissia coach David Nielsen spoke in his hometown about the agreement with the Northern Suburbs team and his goal, which is none other than for the team to stay in the division.
David Nielsen has officially been Kifissia’s new coach since Friday afternoon (August 12). The Dane spoke in his hometown about the new challenge of his career and his first and most important goal, namely keeping the team in the Stoiximan Super League.
First he said:
“Kifisia is the ultimate challenge for me. This job is exactly what I wanted for my coaching future. Now I’ve been given this chance and nothing will stop me. It’s really a challenge that I’m looking forward to because it’s completely different.”
And he continued:
“I agreed until the end of the season. I have to save the team from relegation. For me it’s a different culture. There are things to agree and there is a detailed plan for the training center.”
I chose a Greek coaching staff because it is extremely important not to be influenced by the differences that exist in our culture.
We need to show our identity quickly, and the best way to do that is with the Greeks around me. It’s going to be an exciting six months for me. I’ve wanted a challenge in Turkey or Greece for a long time.
