This is Olympiakos’ deal for Kostinias
The reason for the publication of the agreement to purchase Kostinia from Olympiakos and his inclusion in the Red-Whites’ squad in the summer is that they actually paid 2.5 million euros for the Portuguese right-back and have 30% of that left the rights of Rio Ave and signed a four-year cooperation agreement.
There was no right-back in sight in Olympiakos’ transfer reinforcements, at least not immediately. For this reason, the information from Portugal that Costinia, the extreme defender of Rio Ave, wore the “red and white” clothing made an impression.
Information that has been confirmed since the international defender with the “small” national teams of Portugal moved to Olympiakos in the summer. The reason for the conclusion and publication of the agreement is now to strengthen the cash liquidity of Rio Ave, whose share capital – based on a corresponding agreement – is expected to be transferred to the portfolio of Olympiakos owner Vangelis Marinakis within the month.
With Kostinia standing out from the squad, it was decided to be bought immediately by Olympiakos and stay at Rio Ave to strengthen the company in its efforts to stay in the Portuguese league and come to Greece in the summer.
The 2.5 million euros that were made public as the transfer fee for the 23-year-old right-back correspond to the exact amount of the deal, further details were given Sportish point out that Rio Ave retains 30% of Costinia’s rights and has signed a four-year cooperation agreement with Olympiacos.
