The referees again refuse to play, the Super League games are back in the air this weekend
The Super League referees are insisting on abstention, their demands have not been met and will probably also issue a ban for the coming weekend
Despite the EPO’s announcement, the Super League referees did not see that their demands had been met, they insist on their abstention and are expected to declare a ban on games again for the coming weekend, so that the next games will be up in the air.
The message that the referees and assistants of the first category received on their mobile phones is typical and they were asked to report an obstruction and change their decision within the next few hours and inform the KED if their wishes are respected.
As before every match day, the referees must inform the KED at the beginning of each week whether they can whistle due to an obstruction or not. That’s why they were all asked by the coordination committee to declare an obstacle by Tuesday lunchtime.
Specifically, the message sent to the referees states:
“Colleagues,
After we decided last week to abstain from our competition commitments indefinitely, we would like to remind you that for formal reasons we have to announce our KOLYMMA for the next competition week on the platform.
If our concerns develop positively, we will reconsider our position through a vote in the next few days.
Please have the cot ready by 2:00 p.m. tomorrow at the latest.
Your
The international referees”.
