In fact, he will be in Heraklion on Thursday afternoon (December 14) to discuss the final details of the contract he will sign. Then he will get to work straight away and keep an eye on the game against Aris (December 17th, 3:00 p.m.).
Mel has an impressive CV and has sat on the bench at, among others, Getafe, Rayo, Betis, West Brom, Deportivo La Coruna and Las Palmas.
The first half of last season took place in Malaga. He has played 580 games in his career.
