Araujo, Ponce, Stankovic are out until the end of 2023, Pineda is questionable at Panaitoliko
AEK will face many problems for the rest of 2023 as Matias Almeida does not expect Sergio Araujo, Ezequiel Ponce and Cican Stankovic until the end of the calendar year. Pineda with panaitoliko doubtful.
AEK has put the defeat against Ajax and its European trip behind it and now turns its attention to domestic competitions with its first game against Panaitolikos on Monday.
Matias Almeida will only join Sergio Araujo, Ezequiel Ponce and Cican Stankovic at the end of 2023. The AEK captain will travel to Spain to see a doctor about his knee, while the other two are struggling with muscle problems.
Finally, Pineda, who also did not travel to Amsterdam for the game against Ajax, is questionable for the game against Panaitolikos. Szymanski, who was substituted at the end of the game against Ajax, initially appears to be “fine” and his condition will be revealed in the next training sessions.
