Staikos: “I will talk to the administration and in the next few hours we will have news”
Thanasis Staikos spoke about the responsibility that rests on the coach and stressed that there will be more news in the next few hours after PAS Ioannina’s 2-4 defeat against Kifissia.
PAS Ioannina lost 2-4 to Kifissia and is in last place in the table, without taking into account the victory in the championship since the first matchday.
It seems Thanasis Staikos’ future on the Epirot bench is uncertain and in the Flash interview on COSMOTE TV he said: “When a team like PAS Ioannina is in last place, the responsibility is many and weighs heavily on the coach.”
Immediately after the press conference, he referred to a conversation with management: “The coach must take responsibility. I will speak to management and we will have more news in the next few hours. Something has to change, I think. At the meeting we will have, everything that needs to be said will be said. Whatever needs to be done will be done for the good of the team.
