Staikos from PAS Ioannina ends
Everything suggests that Thanasis Staikos will be a thing of the past on the PAS Ioannina bench after Kifissia’s 4-2 home defeat.
PAS Ioannina was defeated by Kifissia 4-2 and is in last place in the Stoiximan Super League standings, disregarding its victory in the league since matchday one.
Everything points to this being Thanasis Staikou’s last game on the Epirot bench, as it looks set to be a thing of the past after a strong result in a game that has been dubbed the ‘final’.
“I will speak to management and we will have news in the next few hours. I think something needs to change.” Staikos said this at the match press conference.
Staikos has been PAS Ioannina’s first coach since the start of last season. He has coached Epirotes in 49 games, he has eight wins, 18 draws and 23 defeats.
