Jovanovic: “The ease with which we concede goals worries me, this is not the right time to explain it”
Ivan Jovanovic expressed concern over the ease with which Panathinaikos conceded goals following their 3-2 defeat to Atromitos.
Panathinaikos lost to Atromitos 3-2 on matchday 14 of the Stoiximan Super League. Ivan Jovanovic expressed concern about his team’s goals conceded in his statements to NOVA.
Jovanovic’s statement in detail:
For the game: “We haven’t been good, but the goals we’ve conceded have certainly come before conceding goals a lot lately.”
On the question of whether the absences in defense are to blame: “It doesn’t matter, we’ve been conceding easy goals lately.”
What is it for: “This is not the time to explain it, nor would I want to. We are a team that wants to play the main role, that wants to fight for the title. We are committed to returning to the level of performance and results as quickly as possible in a difficult period.”
