PAOK is in discussions with Thomas Zorn for the role of managing director
The 37-year-old German Thomas Zorn, born in Russia, is in talks with the Savvidis family to take up an administrative position at PAOK.
Thomas Zorn, former sports director of Lokomotiv Moscow who also served as general manager of Spartak, is the man with whom the Savvidis family is negotiating to include him in the PAOK team.
The 37-year-old Russian-born German is appointed to the administrative post of managing director at the black and white PAE. In other words, the person who leads the negotiations with footballers and clubs and, in collaboration with the administration, technical staff and the scouting department, “manages” transfers and other outstanding issues of the team.
According to information about Zorn, there is no final agreement yet, but the talks are proceeding in a good atmosphere and everything indicates that there will be announcements soon.
It appears that about two years after the arrival of José Botto, who left PAOK last summer, another technocrat from abroad is being selected to staff the black and white PAE.
