Almeida: “There are no words to explain what happened”
Matias Almeida didn’t say much at the press conference and expressed disappointment with what happened in the final of the game against Panserraikos.
AEK had no success against Panserraikos as they were held to a 2-2 draw in Serres. Matias Almeida did not hide his disappointment at what happened and had no words to explain it. At the same time, he spoke with good words about Panserraikos, as Pablo Garcia had done before.
What Matias Almeida said in detail at the press conference: His opinion on the game and the development at the end: “Analyze these moments. There are no words to explain what happened. Maybe this break will do us good and we’ll see how we start in 2024. This team has been training together for 1.5 years.
We made the same mistakes again and need to see what we were missing to finish the game. I don’t want to say more now because I have to think about it“.
His opinion on Panserraikos: “I always respect all opponents. Every coach tries to do the best. Pablo Garcia is fine“.
