Nielsen: “After conceding three goals in the first half it was difficult for us, PAOK is a very good team”
David Nielsen acknowledged PAOK’s superiority after Kifisia’s heavy home defeat against Dikephalos and looked to the future by talking about important games awaiting his team.
On his debut on the Kifissia bench he celebrated an impressive 4-2 win over PAS Ioannina, but against PAOK David Nielsen saw his team beaten 0-6 by PAOK on matchday 15 of the Stoximan Super League.
In his statements to the Cosmote TV camera immediately after the game, the Danish coach admitted that his team faced a very difficult task against the league leaders, while at the same time assuring that he would continue these efforts in the next equally important games for her.
In detail what he said:
“Right now I’m trying to use all the information I can find out about the division and the league. PAOK is a very good team, we saw that tonight, but also in the last three months. After the three it was difficult for us.” Goals in the first part made life much more difficult for us afterwards and that’s why we didn’t make it.
I have a lot of trust in the players, our team thrives on goals. Today we didn’t manage to score a goal, against PAS Ioannina we scored four goals, tonight we had a few chances, we played the way we wanted to play aggressively, we didn’t manage to do it and that affected us . We want to keep going, we have big games ahead of us and we are looking forward.”
