Carvalhal: “Satisfied with the effort, not with the result”
Carlos Carvalhal, in his statements to NOVA after Olympiakos’ draw against Atromitos, said, among other things, that he was satisfied with the performance of his players, but not with the result.
Olympiacos played to a goalless draw (0-0) against Atromitos in Peristeri, with Carvalial happy with the way his players fought but not with the result. At the same time, he talked about the delays in the game, but without taking into account that this was the reason why Piraeus did not win.
In detail what Carlos Carvalhal said to NOVA: Cfor Olympiacos’ failures, even if they had an impact: “NO. I am absolutely satisfied with the behavior and performance of the players. We played better, had more chances against the opponent and controlled the game. We didn’t manage to score a goal. Other than the result, I have no complaints“.
For substitute Jovetic: “He is not able to play 90 minutes“.
In case of game delays: “I think that the delays are only due to the Atromitos goalkeeper. Nothing special. I think they didn’t count the minutes of delay from the doctors arriving on the field. Those minutes weren’t counted and that’s not fair. It’s not his fault we didn’t win, but I have to point it out“.
