Razvan Lucescu told NOVA that the three-man with Panetolikos will have confidence in his team, while also referring to the presence of Leo Zampa, who had returned to PAOK after his loan to Vasco da Gama.

PAOK defeated Panetolikos 2-0 in Toumba in a postponed Super League Interwetten game and began his engagements in 2022 with the right hand.

Razvan Lucescu said in his testimony to NOVA immediately after the end of the game, among other things, that the victory gives his team confidence, while he also referred to the players who played after a while, including Zampa who scored the second goal.

In detail what Razvan Lucescu said: For the game: “Good game. Victory and three points. We controlled the game, we had a good chance of finishing it earlier. We weren’t that good at turning them into goals.

It was a game between two teams that have suffered badly from coronavirus cases and I think the discussion about the time available and who has trained more is relevant.

We were good, played good football and deserved to win. Victory gives us confidence to continue and achieve our goals, to keep working and building on what we have achieved“.

For the footballers who after a long time with PAOK. have played: “I think it’s rash to talk about conclusions, whether we’re talking about an entire game or twenty minutes of it. We are in a phase in which there is still no evaluation.

The changes we made were due to special circumstances, for example Siddklay knew he would be left winger due to absence. Zampa had been away for three weeks and was actually on vacation in Brazil, but he was in great shape, I knew what I was going to see, that he was doing very well physically, he didn’t surprise me.

I’ve heard different things about Tsolak, but he was in very good shape in training and very good today. Tsigaras did well too. Andre (ss Vierinia) is of course always Andre. I would particularly like to mention Rodrigo, who had a very good presence.

Today was probably his last game with the team and he knew it, but he was very good and generally helped us in a difficult situation for the team amid coronavirus cases“.
