Panathinaikos: Juankar is ready, he is training and playing with Olympiakos
Juankar recovered from the bruise in his calf, trained at full intensity on Thursday morning (13/01) and will play in the derby with Olympiakos on Sunday (16/01).
He’s had a long time to… empty Ivan Jovanovic’s absences so much before the Panathinaikos game, let alone a derby like the upcoming one with Olympiakos on Sunday (16/1, 19:30, Cosmote 1HD, Live from Sportish) in the stadium of the avenue.
On Thursday morning (January 13th), the Serbian coach found to his absolute satisfaction that Juankar also has a full program and is making himself available for the Clásico on Sunday. The Spanish defender, who missed the game against Volos in Panthessaliko last Sunday (09/01), overcame the discomfort in his calf and the hematoma he had as a souvenir of the game with Aris, has trained normally and will play in the play derby with Olympiacos.
From then on, all five players infected with the corona virus in early January trained again at full intensity. Also Mauricio, who rode individual for two days, went 100% into the program today and it is very likely that he will now (again) get a basic jersey.
The only one who pursued an individual program was Dimitris Kourbelis. The “Greens” started with a warm-up, followed by a “sucker”, followed by build-up and final exercises, while the program ended with a game on the half-court. Training is scheduled for tomorrow (Friday, January 14th) at 11 a.m.
