Papastathopoulos: “We’ve been good regularly, we keep working to improve”
Socrates Papastathopoulos told COSMOTE TV that Olympiakos are regularly right in the game against Panathinaikos, but not in the offensive part.
Olympiacos kept a clean sheet with Panathinaikos on the avenue for the 18th game of Super League Interwetten, with Socrates Papastathopoulos stressing that the Reds and Whites were very correct on a regular basis.
At the same time, he mentioned that he was back playing with Costas Manolas who, according to the international stopper, will take some time to find a rhythm while Olympiacos need to keep working to improve.
Details of what Papastathopoulos said on COSMOTE TV: For the game: “A result that, according to the picture, leaves us satisfied. We were good regularly, but not offensively. When I say offensive, I mean attack through defense from the start. Today we played a system that helped us get stronger on a regular basis, but we need to keep working to improve“.
For Manolas and the fact that they played together again: “We know the quality of Kostas. He’s having some abstinence time so he’ll need time to find rhythm. We played very well defensively, so Panathinaikos didn’t have many chances. We will work on it and improve to present ourselves better“.
For continuing and for keeping his difference to second place: “Of course it’s important that we’re undefeated. We don’t look at the second and third. With that in mind, we will return to Siegen“.
