After 13 years two 0-0 in one season in a derby of eternity
In the regular season of Super League Interwetten there were two white draws between Panathinaikos and Olympiakos, which last happened in 2008/2009 season.
The derby between Panathinaikos and Olympiakos ended in a goalless draw that will soon be forgotten as neither team was able to threaten the other. In fact, this is the second 0-0 draw between the two as the first-half match had the same result.
Something like that, namely the two perpetuals with two White draws in the league’s regular season, has been around since the 2008/2009 season. At that point, the game had ended 0–0 in OAKA on November 9, 2008, while the result in Karaiskakis on March 1, 2009 was the same.
Olympiacos’ manager at the time was Ernesto Valverde, while Panathinaikos’ was Henk Ten Cate. Since then, alongside the two 0-0 draws this season, we’ve had another white tie for the Super League playoffs on July 5, 2020.
