Vital: “We showed that we are better”

The never-ending derby between Panathinaikos and Olympiakos ended in a goalless draw that will soon be forgotten. According to Vital, the greens were better and the Brazilian winger explained:

After watching the game, do you think Panathinaikos missed a great opportunity to win the derby?

“Yes, yes. In general I would say we played better, the first half was difficult, in the second we did better, with more possession, but we didn’t manage to get the three points.”

There have been several cases of coronavirus that you have overcome. Even so you Did you like that the team was dominant in the second half and only missed the last pass?

“Unfortunately, the pandemic, the corona virus, not only affects us, but all teams. We showed that we have good players, a good team. I’m looking forward to the second half because we showed that we are better, we came close to the goal but unfortunately it didn’t come to that and we didn’t manage to get the win”.
