AEK has found the edge with Argentinian Emanuel Insua for his transfer to Velez Sarsfield and is now looking for a solution with the issue of Michalis Bakakis.

Today (19.1.) you read on Sportish about the open questions with Emanuel Insua and Michalis Bakakis, with whom AEK is trying to find a way to end their contracts.

According to the latest information, the “golden section” with the Argentine back has been found and he will move to Argentina on behalf of Velez Sarsfield, while the announcements are not far away (it may happen tomorrow or even today). It’s a good development for the team as they will be hung off a contract that costs them €400,000 a year.

The question of the team’s right-back Michalis Bakakis remains open. The footballer is looking for a way to find the next stage in his career, something both the home defender and AEK would like for a team abroad. There have been various rumors about clubs in Cyprus but nothing definitive. The case of his loan to another club in Greece (e.g. Lamia or elsewhere) is also open but not a priority.

It is worth remembering that the Union managed to get out of the contract of Oleg Danchenko, who will continue his career at Zoria, while another – of minor importance – concerns Petar Karaklajic, who was taken over in the summer of 2020 but in the Team remains potential.
