Melissanidis: “I think our stadium will be ready in the summer”

Attica Regional Governor George Patoulis signed the final contract for the electromechanical equipment of the OPAP Arena, with Dimitris Melissanidis expressing his belief that the AEK Stadium will be ready in the summer.

The work of OPAP Arena progresses day by day. On Thursday (20/01) Attica Governor George Patoulis, in the presence of Dimitris Melissanidis, signed two contracts for the supply of electromechanical equipment for AEK’s new stadium.

In fact, in his statements, AEK’s head of administration stated: “M.With today’s signing of the two contracts with the contractors’ representatives, which are OTE and NEUROSOFT, I believe that our stadium will be ready in the summer.

The contracts with the contractors, who undertake to proceed with the supply and installation of the electromechanical equipment for the operation of the stadium of AEK “Agia Sofia” OPAP, were signed by the Regional Governor of Attica G. Patoulis in the presence of the Administrative Manager of AEK D. Melissanidis .

The total budget for the supply of electromechanical equipment necessary for the operation of the stadium amounts to 14,274,193.50 euros. The head of the Technical Works Directorate of the Al region also took part in the signing. Kalogeropoulos.

The Regional Governor of Attica G. Patoulis, during the signing of the contract, indicated that the Attica Region had progressed with steady steps and within the framework of its commitments today to sign the two contracts with the contractors who will take responsibility for the delivery and installation of the necessary equipment that will enable the completion and operation of the AEK Stadium “Agia Sofia-OPAP Arena” to proceed at a rapid pace.

“I am delighted that by signing today with the contractors who carried out the stadium procurement procedures, we are completing all the necessary steps for the AEK Fans’ Home to be completed later this year. This is an emblematic project, the completion of which will adorn Attica. For his part, D. Melissanidis expressed his satisfaction at the signing of the two contracts, emphasizing: “With the signing today of the two contracts with the representatives of the contractors, which are OTE and NEUROSOFT, I believe that the summer will be prepare our stadium. I would like to thank the Regional Governor Mr. Patoulis for the efforts and I believe that today is the last day we visit the Attica region. The projects and equipment financed by the Attica Region

The Attica Region has financed part of the “Construction of the AEK Stadium” with a total budget of 20,000,000 euros, while the two contracts signed today ensure the supply of the electromechanical equipment necessary for the operation of the stadium.

The deliveries include:

-Network systems, IT and security installations, -Sound, video, audiovisual and television broadcasting systems, -Lawn maintenance machines, -Local extinguishing agents. -Automation movement lighting systems

-Refrigeration – Air conditioning heaters – Electrical distribution panels – Architectural fittings “.
