AEK – Volos in OAKA without people
AEK will host Volos on Sunday even without the support of their 1,000 friends as it has the right and insist on the position of non-separation of the fans.
AEK announced that it would not open the gates for the game against Volos as part of the 20th game of the Super League Interwetten in the Olympic Stadium (January 30, 5:15 p.m., Cosmote Sports 1HD, live on Sportish).
The Union believes it cannot fairly distribute the 1,000 seats it is entitled to as part of the government’s anti-coronavirus measures and prefers to hold the race behind closed doors.
It is noted that the pitch of the stadium was cleared of snow on Friday afternoon following the efforts of the AEK team under the supervision of the team’s manager.
The announcement of AEK
“Our team’s Sunday game against Volos NPS will be behind closed doors (OAKA, 17:15). As PAE made clear to AEK from the very beginning, it will not exercise the right to only have 1,000 spectators in the stands.”
