Asteras is ready for the premiere after beating Panaitolikos 4-2

Asteras defeated Panaitolikos 4-2 in a friendly match that took place in Tripoli on Saturday afternoon (13/8), with the hosts, unlike the guests, showing excellent writing examples.

Asteras Tripoli showed full readiness for the league premiere in Saturday afternoon’s friendly against Panaitolikos in Tripoli. The Arkaden won 4:2 against the Agriniotes, who had problems with their performance, especially in the second 45 minutes.

The first half was split, with both teams scoring a goal each. Asteras opened the scoring with a Tilicas lead for Panaitolikos, who came in the 21st minute and equalized with a shot from Karelis after a pass from Liavas.

In the second part, Asteras did what he wanted. First, in the 49th minute, Barales headed a Gardavski cross to make it 2-1, while the Arcades had a crossbar with Bertoglio in the 53rd minute. The next minute, however, Bertoglio passed to Kastanios, who headed in again for Astera’s three goals. The pressure from the home side continued and in the 71st minute Gardavski made it 4-1 with a back-heel.

For his part, Panaitolikos managed to reduce the score even more as he won a penalty, Tassoulis made a hand and Karelis made it 4-2 in the final.
