The French insist on Shaw and Olympiakos the transfer could be completed at 3 million, write Equipe
The French insist Olympiacos want Saidu Shaw from Saint Etienne, with Equipe insisting the transfer can be completed for €3m.
Olympiacos are looking for a centre-back and the reports from abroad continue. Foot224 reported that the red-whites are interested in 20-year-old stopper Saidou Shaw (1.85), who plays for Saint-Etienne.
On Saturday (20/8) Equipe brought up the subject again after Stephanois lost 6-0 to Le Havre. In particular, he argues that the above match may have been Shaw’s last.
According to the publication, Olympiacos want to take advantage of the situation and make him their own. In fact, Equipe writes that the deal could be completed for three million euros.
The 20-year-old defender hails from Guinea, is 1.85m tall, is under contract with Saint-Etienne until the summer of 2025 and made 13 Ligue 1 appearances (2 goals, 1 assist) in the 2021/22 season – one more in the Coupe de France.
