Nikolas Enkoulos, who will reinforce Aris’ defence, is expected in Thessaloniki on Sunday night to pass the trials and sign his contract.

Aris is close to completing another transfer, and a great one at that, as the Thessaloniki team await Nikolas Enkoulos in Thessaloniki on Sunday.

The 32-year-old has been sacked by Watford and will join the co-capital to undergo tests and sign his contract. The Cameroonian stopper is expected to sign a two-year cooperation deal with Herman Bourgos’ team.

The experienced defense attorney will of course watch the premiere of Aris at Kl. Vikelidis”, versus Levadeiakos (21.8., 20:30).

The 32-year-old Cameroonian centre-back (1.84m) has a rich CV, having played for several teams in France. Specifically, he started his career in Monaco and then went to Marseille and from there to Lyon.

In the summer of 2017 he was loaned to FC Torino, who picked him up permanently a year later for 3.5 million euros. He stayed in Italy until the summer of 2021 when he left as a free agent to be taken on by Watford.

His collaboration with the England team ended a few days ago without an extension. He played three games for Watford last season.
