New dates with Fortune

Data change at Kostas Fortounis. The return of the Greek ace is possible in training and in Olympiakos’ daily routine from next week.

The veteran central midfielder, who was out of Pedro Martins’ plans at the start of the summer and trained with the cuts at Rentis, trains regularly at Olympiakos’ training facilities and is being considered for an activation.

Fortounis is an Olympiakos player, he has a contract until June 2023 and Carlos Corberan, taking over the technical lead, is reorganizing the entire squad, as he did in the case of Mario Vrousai, whom he included in the European list and used as a substitute in the game against Apollo Limassol in Cyprus.

Olympiakos isn’t saying anything for now and it’s reasonable until the situation is clarified. However, the dates for Fortounis appear to have changed in the last 24 hours, with the possibility that his contract is also under discussion.

After all, the player can sign as a free agent from January as he will have entered the last half of his contract.

Fortounis, on the other hand, will most likely be activated starting next week. At the moment Olympiacos don’t have an official offer for the sale of the Greek midfielder and there was no thought of handing the player over to APOEL as heard and written.
