Stevens: “Greece has competition, life in Crete is excellent”

Sonny Stevens spoke about life in Crete as well as his first days at OFI in his statements to Dutch media.

OFI replaced Davies Epassi with Sonny Stevens, who competed in Camphor, Holland. The 30-year-old goalkeeper, who made his debut against Atromitos, spoke to Meso in the Netherlands.

Speaking of his early days at OFI, he said: “We like it here. Everyone wants to help me and my family. It feels like a warm bath. Sport is also very important here. Life on the island is excellent”.

About Van Dienen who went: “Van Dijnen helped me with a few things. It’s a shame he’s gone but I’m getting by. We speak a lot of English in the team and I’m already trying to learn Greek words.”

When defeating Atromitos: “The place was very bad.”

For OFI: “Everything is running smoothly. With Giorgos Samaras, the team has a general manager with experience in top clubs.”
