According to a Guardian reporter, AEK is interested in Elabdelaoui
AEK are interested in signing 30-year-old Norwegian right-back Omar Elabdelawi, according to Guardian reporter Will Anvil.
According to Guardian journalist Will Anvil, Omar Elabdelawi’s case is reportedly being investigated by AEK. The 30-year-old Norwegian ex-Olympiakos full-back has a contract with Galatasaray until summer 2023 and is very likely to leave Turkey in the current transfer window, according to this reporter.
However, Union are not alone as Igor Tudors Marseille are also interested in the player, according to the same source. It is recalled that AEK loaned Clement Michelin to Bordeaux and therefore had one player less left for the right end of defence.
Last season Elabdelawi played a total of seven times in all competitions. It is recalled that on New Year’s Eve 2021, fireworks exploded in his house next to him, causing a serious injury to his right eye.
