Olympiakos Volou – Olympiakos B ‘2-3: Piraeus passed Thessaly

Olympiakos B’ was hosted by Olympiakos Volou for the 17th game of Super League 2. Piraeus was able to secure the win 3-2 against Thessaly who didn’t leave the game even though they were behind by two goals. Olympiakos B’ is 5th with 25 points. In 16th place are the inhabitants of Volos with ten.

Piraeus opened the scoring early on when Marino hit the net in the 5th minute. In the 32nd minute, Sourlis doubled the goals for his team and even dedicated his goal to 19-year-old Alkis, who was murdered in Thessaloniki.

The hosts tried to react. They reduced with Filipovic in the 33rd minute before the two teams went to the dressing room. In the 59th minute, Bernardos brought the game to a draw. In the 65th minute, however, Pinakas gave Ibagasa’s team the lead again. Participation for Olympiakos B ‘was also written by Dabo, who took the place of Pinakas in 82’.

The score didn’t change until the end of the game. The hosts were left with ten players in the delays due to Filipovic’s dismissal.
