Fortounis is expected to take part in the 2nd team’s participation against Trikala
Costas Fortounis returns to the Olympiacos second-team game against Trikala in a phased preparation for his return to the Red-Whites first-team.
Costas Fortounis has entered the final stretch of his return to action as he is expected to take part in the Super League 2 match between Olympiacos second team and Trikala in Rentis.
Ariel Ibagasa will give him time to play at half-time to gradually improve in physical and mental shape and be ready to help Pedro Martins’ team in the latter part of the current season.
We recall that Fortounis tore his cruciate ligament during the pre-season friendly between Olympiacos and Wolfsberger on June 26 and underwent surgery on July 15, which put him out of action for around seven months.
