Super League 2 dedicated the 18th game to fighting violence, with players from all teams wearing special t-shirts before the start of the game and proceeding to other rituals in memory of Alkis Kampanos.
Super League 2 dedicated the 18th game to the fight against violence on the occasion of the murder of 19-year-old Alkis Kampanos in cooperation with PSAPP.
The footballers entered the field wearing a special jersey with the inscription “Please don’t hit me again”, these were Alkis’ last words.
The Super League 2 announcement in detail: “With a strong anti-violence message, Super League 2 players, in partnership with PSAPP (Panhellenic Association of Paid Footballers), dedicated the 18th game of the Betsson Super League 2 Championship to the fight against violence. In a social initiative to raise awareness among fans, the footballers competed in a special jersey with the last words of murdered Alkis Kampanos“.
