Athens Kallithea – AEK B’ 3-0: Return to winning ways with a hat-trick in Simos’ debut

Athens Kallithea defeated AEK B’ 3-0 on Matchday 5 of Super League 2 Group B, with Giorgos Simos making his debut on the Kallithea side’s bench. Double for Apollon Larisa.

Athens’ Kallithea returned to winning ways, beating AEK B’ 3-0 on Matchday 5 of Super League 2 Group B. Giorgos Simos even made his debut on the bench for Kallithea’s team.


This gave them nine points after four games, while the Union second team stayed on five points in five games.

The hosts scored the opening goal in the 4th minute when Loukina scored from the penalty spot, which was handed over to Katsika. AEK B’ then had moments to equalize.

Early in the second half, Simos’s players found a second goal with a Kynigopoulos header from the small area, while Athens soon hit a bar with Kallithea. Thanasis Kostanassios scored the final score in the 86th minute of the game.

In the other games of the 5th match day of the A’ group of the Super League 2, Apollon Larissas won the double with a 1-0 win against Apollon Larissas.

AEL double and second place for the Crimson, three points for Renaissance and Niki Volos in the A’ group of Super League 2

AEL beat Apollon Pontou 3-0 away to climb into second place and remain in the hunt for Panserraikos. Victory for the regeneration of Karditas and victory for Volos.

AEL overtook Kalamaria with a 3-0 win over Apollon Pontos to take the three points and move up to second place in the standings, six points behind Panserraikos. Rebirth of Karditsa, like Herakles’ Niki Volos, edged out Veria 1-0, while Apollon Larrisa – Almopors Aridaia and Diagoras – Makedonikos ended in a goalless draw.

Panserraikos: “Fortunately we built a team to beat the referees too”

PAE Panserraikos has issued a statement regarding the refereeing of the match against PAOK B’, protesting the phase of the 66th minute in which they protest the goal not being conceded.

Panserraikos defeated PAOK II 1-0 thanks to Pantekidis’ goal, however, Serres’ team have complained about the match referee and issued an explanation.

Super League 2 Group A leaders celebrate the 66th-minute period when the ball seemed to have crossed the finish line but the goal was never awarded in Panseraikos’ favor. The announcement states, among other things, that “Luckily we formed a team to beat the referees as well“.

Panserraikos beat PAOK B’ in the 90+2′, defeat in Larissa for Panathinaikos B’ for the A’ group

Panserraikos found the solution at 90+2 with Fotis Pantekidis and beat PAOK B 1-0 for their ninth straight win. An important three-point for Iraklis Larisas, who defeated Panathinaikos II 1-0.

Panserraikos also overtook Nea Efkarpia as they defeated PAOK B’ 1–0 in Super League 2 match day 13 to earn their ninth consecutive victory in the league.


Pavlos Dermitzakis’ team was better for most of the game and wasted several stages until they got the goal with Fotis Pantekidis at 90+2.

The best moment of 66 minutes for Panserraikos came when Papazoglou, after a foul by Mourgos, caught a header that ended up off the crossbar and the rebound was blocked by Balomenos, with the Panserraikos players protesting that the Ball crossed the target line.

Panserraikos reached 31 points while PAOK II stayed at 22 points.

Iraklis Larisas scored a big win in the battle to remain in Super League 2 when they defeated Panathinaikos II 1-0.

Thessaly’s golden goalscorer was Casas, who scored the final goal in the 60th minute. Panathinaikos B’ had scored three minutes earlier, but Prodromitis’ attempt was blocked by the crossbar.
