Panathinaikos does not forget its founder George Kalafatis: “We thank him because he gave our lives a special meaning”
Fifty-eight years are completed by the death of George Kalafatis, who founded Panathinaikos in 1908, and the club honors him with a social media post.
Like today, 58 years ago, the founder of Panathinaikos breathed his last. The reason for George Kalafatis who died on February 19, 1964 at the age of 74.
Panathinaikos does not forget the man who gave flesh and blood to the “Panathinaikos” idea and wanted to honor it by posting on social media on the occasion of the 58th anniversary of his death:
