Panathinaikos B suffered a 2-1 home defeat by Kalamata in the 20th game of Super League 2, with the visitors needing three minutes to reach the turnaround.

Despite Panathinaikos B leading with Tsirigotis, Kalamata was the one to leave Athens with the double, going 2-1 up in the 20th game of Super League 2. The guests caught the surprise within three minutes.

Only in the 9th minute of the game did the Greens miss a huge opportunity to score the lead Tsirigoti to go out in fours and Tairis to repel the place. The Kalamata keeper made another excellent operation, repelling Sideras’ shot in the 17th minute after an Iliadis corner kick.

The pressure from Javier Bathketh’s side paid off after he found the goal in the 23rd minute of the game. Sideras took a long ball, Turkochoritis lowered the ball, made the cross, Tsirigotis made a fishhead and made it 1-0.

The guests reacted and equalized in the 38th minute with Tato’s white ball. In fact, within three minutes Kalamata achieved the overthrow. Theocharis made a wrong turn towards home, with Loukinas penetrating the ball’s run, making the play and pushing it into Panathinaikos B’ nets, writing 1-2 in 41′.

The “Klee” entered the second half dynamically and almost equalized. In the 52nd minute, Sardelis fired from a corner, forcing Tairis to make an impressive save.

The hosts kept up the pressure and missed another great chance to make it 2-2. After a cross from Turkohoritis, the Tsirigotis made the header in 81′, but the ball landed in the Kalamata goalkeeper’s horizontal bar and the score remained 1-2 until the final of the match.
