The Macedonian defeated Veria 2-1 away, with Alberto Simoni scoring the winner against his former club.
Macedonia clinched an important victory in the home game of Veria, who prevailed 2-1. Leonidopoulos opened the scoring for the visitors in the 13th minute, Orphanidis responded in the 39th minute.
Alberto Simoni finally ensured the Macedonian victory in the 77th minute. The Albanian forward scored against the team whose shirt he wore for two seasons (2019-2021).
With this 1:2 Macedonian climbed to fifth place in the table.
