Meeting Bennett – Mandala and Super League 2 decisions
The meeting of the Super League 2 delegation with Steve Bennett brought some decisions that were announced on the evening of January 5th.
The EPO offices hosted the scheduled meeting of the Super League 2 delegation with Head of KED/EPO Steve Bennett and Referee Education and Development Manager Stavros Mandalo.
The two sides discussed issues related to their cooperation and both committed to regular communication but mainly on measures that will help improve the performance of the referees appointed in the Super League 2 Championship – these will be announced in due course .
At the same time, Steve Bennett accepted the invitation of Super League 2 President Leonidas Leuchakou to join the league’s board of directors in the near future.
Issues related to the stricter framework of disciplinary penalties for erroneous referee decisions, the attempt to reduce the cost of expenses related to the movements of referee teams, the defense of the principles of fair play, but also the training of Super Also the referees of the 2. League were discussed by KED/EPO in relation to the Rules of the Game.
Besides its president, Super League 2 was also managed by Mr. Davelis (AEL), Papakonstantinou (Niki Volos) and Lychnaras (Chania).
