The Great Week of the Episcopacy: The Recall of the Bulletins and the Visible Danger of Expulsion

This week is the most important in the modern history of the diocese, as a return to the amateur categories is inevitable if it fails to overturn the decision to revoke its tickets.

The week that began is described as the most critical in the modern history of the diocese. The team that thrilled last season in Super League 2 with Jasminko Velic on the bench is now facing the abyss due to the ticket revocation decided by the EPO.

With two games (with PAO Roof and Athens Kallithea) already missed due to Episkopi’s fault, time is of the essence. Quite simply, because if the Cretan club fails to find a solution to the problem and doesn’t reach the 11th game against Progressive, then they will be banned from the Super League 2 championship.

On Monday, January 9th, PAE Episkopi informed that it had appealed the first instance decision to revoke the bulletins in the hope that positive developments would take place immediately (apparently within the week). Otherwise, relegation to the amateur categories is inevitable.

PAE Episkopi’s announcement:

PAE Episkopis has done what it promised its fans, but also what it felt was its moral obligation to its history and its people.

This Monday (09/01) after all legal proceedings both before the EPO and the Arbitral Tribunal, our legal representative Mrs. Doxas Tsagarakis appealed the decision of EIP (EPO) to revoke our football players’ cards“.
