AEK B’ – Olympiacos B’ 1-2: Red-white three-pointer with a surprise in Serafideio and protagonist Liatso
Olympiacos B defeated AEK B 2-1 at Serafideio on Matchday 11 of Group B in Super League 2 at Serafideio, Liatsos responded with two goals in the 26th minute and in the 39th minute of Efthymis Christopoulos’ goal ( 22.).
Olympiacos B’ went through Serafideio and caused a stir in the 11th game of Group B of Super League 2 against AEK B’. The red and white prevailed 2-1, with Liatsos being the absolute protagonist. Somehow Okka’s team got 11 points after eight games.
AEK came into the field better and had two very good moments with Zini, who also made his debut with the yellow-blacks. Union took the lead in the 22nd minute. The home side won a penalty for Chrysopoulos, tagging Apostolis Christopoulos. Efthymis Christopoulos took charge of the execution and hit the target.
Olympiakos B’s response was immediate. Liatsos fired a direct free-kick from the right, Hatziemmanouil failed to clear and the ball went into the net. In fact, the red and white doubled their goals before the end of the first part. Liatsos scored for the second time in the 39th minute with a stunning shot from outside the box.
In the second part, the pace slowed down. There was a lot of fighting in midfield, with AEK having the ball for most of the 45 minutes. Chances were few and far between, with the most important being a Zini shot from the box in the 68th minute.
Olympiacos maintained their lead until the end of the game, celebrating the three points in Serafideio in the final.
