Niki Volou: “The designation of Mr. Anastasiadis as A-assistant is provocative”
Niki Volou issued a statement stressing that the appointment of Achilleas Anastasiadis as first assistant in the game against Almopos was provocative.
On Sunday (22 January) Niki Volou will be welcomed by Almopos Aridaias on match day 12 of Group A in Super League 2. The Thessalonians emphasized this in their declaration The appointment of Achilleas Anastasiadis as First Assistant is provocative and he has demanded that KED replace him immediately.
Niki Volos’ announcement in detail:
“After 3.5 years of our presence in Niki Volos administration, we were forced to deal with refereeing right in the 1st game (away against Macedonia), something that we really don’t want or express ourselves and that’s not part of our philosophy fits .
Unfortunately, the man who led us to this step stands in our way again, and again in a non-televised game. In particular, the appointment of Mr. Anastasiadis as first assistant in the upcoming game against Almopos Aridaias is at least challenging for us.
We remind that Mr. Anastasiadis, coming from EPS Serron, with his unimaginable decision did not count Milunovic’s crystal clear goal, while the ball crossed the line by half a meter and deprived our team of the equalizer.
PAE Niki Volou has already officially asked the KED to replace the referee in question immediately, or at least if he has the elementary decency to declare himself an impediment.
