Panserraikos continues his rise, Niki Volos stumbles in Super League 2 Group A
Panserraikos scored another victory on Sunday with a 4-0 win against Iraklis Larisa, while Niki Volos failed to beat Almopos in Aridaia. Victory also for Veria.
Panseraikos continues its progress towards promotion to the Super League, with Serres’ team claiming another win, this time beating Iraklis Larisas 4-0 and finding themselves at +6 from AEL. Volos’ victory lost ground when it stumbled at Aridaea, while Veroia won a difficult but important victory over Apollon Pontos.

Panserraikos beat Iraklis Larissa 4-0, scoring all four goals in the second half. The hosts had their chances in the first half but couldn’t get into the net.
The Serres team managed to score four goals in the second half. Side opened the shot on goal with a nice free kick in the 51st minute. In the 76th minute, Mourgos made it 2-0 while Sofianos scored Panserraikos’ third goal in the 80th minute. The final 4:0 formed again in the 88th minute Mourgos.

Niki Volos stumbled in Aridaia
Four goals, surprises but no winner came from the Aridaia game between Almopos and Niki Volos, with the final score being 2-2.
In the 14th minute, the visitors opened the scoring with Delizisis with a nice header, but Almopos found their way to level thanks to a Souliotis shot in the 29th minute. In the 38th minute, Almopos managed to turn the game around completely through Tsibouka, who rebounded after a shot and beat Bayte to make it 2-1.
In the second half, the Volos team pushed for an equalizer and managed to win the one point of the draw thanks to Kyriakidis’ goal in the 76th minute that made it 2-2.

Veria got the three points
Although Veria beat Apollon Pontou 2-0, it was a more difficult win than the final score would suggest. Buoli made it 1-0 for the home side in the 85th minute with a nice penalty. The home team “secured” the three points thanks to Eleftheriadis, who made it 2-0 with a penalty in the 90th minute.
