Important changes with Paris Babis and Antil Nambi for Athens Kallithea
Athens’ Kallithea players are Paris Babis and Antil Nambi, who have signed with the Super League 2 team until the end of the season.
Athens Kallithea have announced the signings of Paris Babis and Antil Nabi as part of their bid for promotion to Super League via Super League 2 Group B, with both players signing until the end of the season.
Babis used to compete in Lamia from which he was released while Nabi belonged to Atromitos from which he was released.
Announcement by Athens Kallithea about Paris Babis: “Athens Kallithea have announced the signing of midfielder Paris Babis on a free transfer after his contract with Super League 1’s Lamia was mutually terminated. Babis, 23, has signed until the end of the 2022/23 season.
Athens-born Babis rose through the AEK academy and played his first two cup games of the 2018/19 season at the age of 19 before continuing his career with a string of loan spells at second division clubs Apollon Pontos, Kalamata, and Platanias Apollon Larisa.
Last season, Babis made 25 appearances (all in the starting XI) for AEK B in Super League 2 and his performances there earned him a move to Lamia from Super League 1 in July 2022, playing five Super League 1 games and two Greek Cup games before leaving Lamia for AKFC.

And the Adil Nabi announcement: “Athens Kallithea announce the signing of midfielder Adil Nabi on a free transfer after his contract with Super League 1’s Atromitos was mutually terminated.Nabi, 28, has signed until the end of the 2022/23 season.
Birmingham-born Nabi joined West Bromwich Albion’s academy, where he scored 26 goals with 12 assists in 73 Under-21 games and was named new player of the 2014/15 season.
After a loan spell with Delhi Dynamos in the Indian Premier League, Nabi left West Brom, then moved to League 1 with Peterborough United and the Scottish Premiership with Dundee before joining OFI in Greece in January 2019.
In the second half of the 2018/19 season, Nabi made nine appearances, scoring three goals and one assist to help OFI avoid relegation before scoring the winning goal in the 96th minute against Platanias in the second leg of the relegation games secured OFI the Remain in Super League 1.
The following season, OFI secured sixth place in the table and qualified for the UEFA Europa League for the first time in 20 years, during which time Nabi made 25 appearances (20 in the starting XI) with four goals and three assists.
In total, Nabi made 53 appearances with nine goals and four assists for the historic Cretan side before joining Super League 1 rivals Atromitos.Nabi made a total of nine assists for Atromitos before joining AKFC.
A former England international, Nabi is capped nine times with England Under-17s and twice with Under-16s.
