Veria – PAOK B ‘2-1: Three-point promotion with two direct fouls
The champions Veria scored an important win 2-1 against PAOK B’ with two direct fouls, Kache at 31′ and Mourgos at 71′. Dikefalos reduced to 90+4′ with Fasidis.
An important victory was won by the champions of the first group of Super League 2, Veria. PAOK 2 prevailed 2-1 in the 21st game. It is at the top with 45 points while the second team of Dikefalos is in 8th place with 26 points.
Veria was the one who took the lead in the 31st minute. Ergis Kache committed a direct foul, the ball went over the wall and landed in Talichmanidis’ net. The home side’s scorer didn’t celebrate the goal out of respect for his old team.
PAOK B didn’t react, Veria “locked” his important three points. Mourgos scored the hosts’ second goal with a direct foul in the 71st minute, to which the Dikefalos keeper found no reply.
In the delays of the second part before the end of his game, the guests managed to reduce after a corner kick from the left with a Fasidis header.
