Super League 2 stressed that it wanted a dialogue with all the institutional bodies involved, will request a meeting with the board of the first division, while calling the opinions of the president of the cooperative defamatory and discrediting.
The Super League 2 announcement in detail:
“Following yesterday’s statement by the President of SL1 regarding the legitimate claims of all members of SL2, the recently established Competent Complaints Committee issued the following statement:
“The members of SL2 decide unanimously and very institutionally on their legal rights and entitlements. Professional football has to operate with rules and respect for the institutions, whether they like it or not.
Therefore, as part of the dialogue we want with all the institutional bodies involved, we will also ask for a meeting with the SL1 board, without individual meetings with football players.
We are awaiting the invitation, which we will duly send out to prove whether the SL1 President’s defamatory and derogatory views express the whole of its members.”
