Vangelis Marinakis’ response to Super League 2: ‘Eventually the phones will be answered and the prosecutors will take care of the rest’
Super League President Vangelis Marinakis responded to Super League 2’s announcement, which had called his views defamatory and discrediting.
On Friday afternoon (10/02), Super League 2 issued a statement – a reply to Super League President Vangelis Marinakis, who clarified that he would not sit at the table with representatives of the second category.
The president of the cooperative responded a little later, emphasizing, among other things: “Eventually the phones will pick up and the prosecutors will take care of the rest.”
The statement of Vangelis Marinakis:
“The Super League 2 committee would do well to inform sports fans about the following instead of making announcements (another novelty in the Orchard category):
How is the well-known Leutsakos president? How does he illegally not appear in his service? Is it enough that he organizes Mr Theodorikakos’ pre-election events to get scandalous coverage of him? What is the compensation he receives and who decided it? Finally, as a complete failure in the presidency (zero funding for the teams, ridiculous TV deals, lack of sponsors, questionable game record from Sport Radar), why is he still playing the president? Collecting two salaries (from the Greek police and SL2) without offering anything at all?
Who is Mr. Davelis who suddenly gained a voice in Greek football? What exactly did he pay to get historic AEL and what arrangements did he make to help other than Giannakis and the ‘crime syndicate’ that tainted the prosecution to get AEL promoted to the Super League? Did he meet up with certain people and make a deal? Let him inform the people of Larissa so the masks fall. Not the Covid masks he’s marketing. This is a scandal that will open soon.
Mr Pritsas will do well to continue his planning and the phones with Giannakis Papadopoulos to referees, wardens, observers, groups, but eventually the phones will open and prosecutors will take care of the rest.
For the problems of corruption in this particular category, they are wrongly addressed to the Super League. Better contact Sports Radar and “EPATHLA” where there are records of suspected prediction games for Super League 2.
Also have them contact the independent governing body the Committee for Supervision and Control of Games which has ruled (by Decision 600/7-10-21) that betting in this particular category is not free. Why;
Let them also turn to the “EPATHLA” (National Platform for Sports Integrity), which brings together the GAA, ELAS and Electronic Crime Prosecutors, Sports Prosecutors, National Transparency Authority and EEEP, all unanimously in favor of the renewal of the voted in favor of the above decision.
Do you want any evidence other than the above as to the corruption of the prosecution?
Instead of apologizing to the Super League 2 member teams, and I mean the healthy teams that have left them financially crippled, that have left them with no vision or future, they make hollow announcements to please their patrons.
Finally, let me clarify the following. About the distribution of revenue in Super League and Super League 2, there was a discussion in Super League and all teams agreed on the specific distribution except for AEK while Volos was absent.
You already have the answer you are looking for on the subject of betting and sales.
