Deduction of five points in Olympiakos B’ from the current and next championship for leaving the game with Athens Kallithea

The Super League 2 Individual Member Disciplinary Body has decided to deduct five points from Olympiakos B’ in the current and next leagues for leaving the game at half-time in the match against Athens Kallithea. At the same time, Giorgos Simos’ team won the game 3-0, while the red-white team was also fined 70,000 euros.

It is recalled that Olympiacos B left in protest at the referees, while the KED issued a statement shortly thereafter indicating that the referees had been apologized and sanctioned. It is recalled that in the current championship, B teams cannot be relegated.

The Super League 2 announcement in detail: “The Professional Football Association National Category A2 Primary Single Member Disciplinary Tribunal made the following decisions:

• ACCEPTED that PAE OLYMPIAKOS B is responsible for the disciplinary offense of culpably leaving the field of play without the referee interrupting the game and giving a corresponding order after it started, with the result that the game is not played due to his fault .
