Rokakis: We have appealed the validity of dates in Super League 2
Antonis Rokakis stated that he challenged the result of the Super League 2 presidential election, in which he was defeated by a vote by Petros Martsoukos.
The President of PAE Chania and defeated by one vote (with the winner Petros Martsoukos) in the Super League 2 President elections, Antonis Rokakisannounced in a written statement that he opposed Wednesday’s trial.
The Rokaki Declaration
“We filed an urgent appeal today with the relevant EPA tribunal against the validity of yesterday’s Super League 2 appointment.
We denounce a number of irregularities, including the illegal participation of PAE Apollon Larissa, who long ago should have been expelled from the league and the SL2 board for failing to comply with decisions to pay financial compensation to football players.
I would like to thank from the bottom of my heart the PAE representatives who honored me with their vote, who all together supported the efforts necessary to bring our league a completely different and modern operation as it deserves and regain its lost credibility.
I also understand those who didn’t support us at the last moment and bowed to all kinds of pressures that were put on them.
I promise that with the acceptance of our appeal and the forthcoming normal elections, this gloomy climate that existed will finally and irreversibly be a thing of the past.”
