Eight minutes late at the start of the game AEL – Anagennisi, the referee demanded that the banners for tempi be removed
The friends of AEL put up two banners about the accident in Tempi. Referee Ioannis Papadopoulos told them to come down, but after consultation and eight minutes late, the game started with the banners staying in place.
AEL’s game against Anagennisi Karditsa for Super League 2 Group One started eight minutes late. The Friends of the Purple wanted to honor the memory of the victims of the accident in Tempi.
One banner had 57 coffins, the number of identified victims of the train crash, while the other launched an attack on the political leadership. “Willful murderous politicians. All for you profits, not human life,” says the second banner.
