Panserraikos rise to Super League 2 Group A title, OFI take a point from Apollon

Panserraikos conceded three points early on against Niki Volos and won 2-0. Stina’s header after a sweet cross from the right made it 1-0 in the 7th minute and four minutes later it was the turn of the Lions captain Aristoteles Karasalidis to score and set the score.

Niki Volou tried in vain to get something out of the game, while Panagiotidis was sent off after 53 minutes and they were down a player.

With those three points, Panserraikos increased his gap to second-placed AEL in Super League 2 Group A (and PAOK B’, who has no promotion rights) to nine points, while Niki Volou is now 23, eleven points down.

Cataldi gave the point to OF Ierapetras

Apollon Smyrnis was aiming to catch Kallithea and Panachaiki in the standings by beating OF Ierapetras Athens, but failed to do so as the Cretans remained tied at 1-1.

Moraitis opened the scoring for the “Light Brigade” in the 63rd minute, Cataldi equalized the game in the 82nd minute and shaped the end result. So Apollon Smyrnis has 28 points and OFI follows with two less.
