Croatia’s Ivan Bebek officiates the Super League 2 derby between Veria and AEL
Mark Clattenberg used a foreign referee and assistant for the first time in a Super League 2 game in the derby between Veria and AEL, which will be played on Wednesday (9 March, 3.30 p.m.).
On Wednesday (3/9) at 15:30 the derby of Group A’ of Super League 2 will take place between champions Veria and AEL, which is in second place, with the two teams separated by a distance of three points.
KED President Mark Clattenberg has used a foreign referee in a Category Two game for the first time this season, and he has done so with considerable experience. The reason for this is the Croatian Ivan Bebek, who is known in this country because he was the first referee but also a VAR referee in many Super League games.
The referee is Ivan Bebek from Croatia, who is supported by his compatriots Goran Pataki and Marian Thomas.
